COLLECTING MOMENTS

Life goes up and down, we all know it. We all feel it. Perhaps we'd rather skip the downs. Yeah, that would probably be rather nice. But at the same time, we wouldn't wanna give up the highs. Those moments when we feel like we could do anything.

I've come to a conclusion: I wouldn't have it any other way. Though the gap between the highs and the lows in life can be tough, that's the way life is. It's in the contrast inbetween that life is happening. It's because of the joy and the pain that I know for sure that I'm alive. I want to feel life.

It's Monday, one of those downs. I take a look at the pictures from the weekend. One of them is of an amazing sunset from the upper deck, barely no land in sight. And that moment makes it a bit easier to get through this today. That bright day sheds a little light on this darker day. And that contrast brings life to life itself.
